Second Climate Change Need Assessment Workshop

This event took place under the country’s second project from the Green Climate Fund Readiness and Preparatory Support Programme “Strengthening country capacities for climate change adaptation and mitigation and finalization of Country Work Programme for the Republic of North Macedonia” implemented by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) under the guidance and leadership of the Cabinet of the Deputy President of the Government in charge of economic affairs, coordination of economic departments and investments, as National Designated Authority for the Green Climate Fund.
 
The main objective of the event was to inform and validate the preliminary results of the conducted climate change need assessment process which aims to inform the development the GCF Country Work Programme for the Republic of North Macedonia in the coming months. 
 
The event was attended by around 70 representatives of government agencies, relevant ministries, academia, private sector, civil society organizations and international organizations.
