Within North Macedonia’s second project under the Green Climate Fund (GCF) Readiness and Preparatory Support Programme – ‘’Strengthening country capacities for climate change adaptation and mitigation and finalization of Country Work Programme for the Republic of North Macedonia’’, implemented by FAO under guidance of the Cabinet of the Deputy President of the Government in charge of economic affairs, as National Designated Authority (NDA) to the GCF, an online training programme will be organized in the period 28 February until 23 March 2022.

The training programme includes eight training sessions covering specific GCF-related topics, creating the whole picture of opportunities for North Macedonia to implement climate change mitigation and adaptation measures by strengthening readiness needs for strategic engagement with the GCF.

The trainings will take place on the ZOOM platform and are open to all interested GCF stakeholders in North Macedonia, including government institutions, public and private companies, banks, CSOs, academia and international organizations.
